Ratios for our Accelerated Class A CDL program are 5:1

Full time is 8-hours a day with a 45-minute lunch which can be scheduled between 6:30 AM and 4:00 PM. You will receive your class hours Friday before your start date. Throughout the day you will be watching instructional videos, practicing air brakes and pre-trip, working on skills and driving on the road.

Part time is 3-hours a day and can be scheduled between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. You will receive your class hours Friday before your start date. Throughout the day you will be practicing air brakes and pre-trip, working on skills and driving on the road. You will be required to watch and study our instructional videos each day before you come into class.

• Week 1

  • Permit Portal

  • Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) Theory

  • Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical & Drug Screening

  • Commercial License Permit (CLP) appointment w/ Department of Public Safety (DPS)

• Week 2

  • Training in truck (8-hour days)

  • Learning pre-trip, air brakes, skills, and road

• Week 3

  • Training in truck (8-hour days)

  • Mastering pre-trip, air brakes, skills, and road

  • Mock test

  • Onsite CDL testing (Up to 3 attempts)

    • Note: prep is required for each attempt

• Weel 4

  • Remedial training for knowledge test (if not passed)

  • Training in truck (evenings)

  • Mock testing (last chance)

Certificate of Completion
